A Quick & Easy Fuel Transfer Pump Project - Top Up Your Tank Without Lifting Heavy Jerry Cans

Save your back and avoid splashing fuel everywhere, with this easy Project.

It's reassuring knowing you have extra fuel onboard while travelling in the Outback. Fuel stops at reasonable prices, can be few and far between sometimes.

But if you're anything like me and your back doesn't like lifting heavy Jerry Cans, then this set-up makes top-ups easy!

The 12V 40 L/Min Diesel Transfer Pump was sourced from eBay and cost around $130. A trip to Bunnings got the $4.95 Tie-Down Strap, $2.98 for a can of Fiddly Bits flat black spray paint and the 2x1 dressed pine was another $10 or $12 from memory. The entire Project took about an hour and a half, including time for a couple of stubbies!
